Village People

Thank you for viewing our website.

I would like to tell you something about our church and what we are about. One thing is for certain, when you visit us whether at a church service or a social event, you will be sure of a genuine warm and friendly welcome. This atmosphere of caring and concern is a constant feature within our church. You will be among people who care about others, people who share profound Christian values.

Do bring the family to our services. Younger members are most welcome and we regard them as such an important part of our fellowship and indeed our future.

Every Sunday after the service, we provide coffee and biscuits for half an hour or so which enables us to catch up with one another, provide a helping hand where needed and finalise plans for future events.

We have a regular programme of social events throughout the year, which often involve enjoying home cooked meals and various forms of entertainment such as talks, music, singing or poetry etc. all provided by church members.

In early December we hold our Christmas Tree Festival, which brings many visitors to the church and enables us to make a valuable contribution to a chosen local cause. During the year we support other charities including Christian Aid, International Appeals and other causes.

If you care to browse through our website you will find details of the Sunday services by clicking on "service information".

Please feel most welcome to join in our services at 10.30a.m. on Sunday mornings or come along to one of our social events , please click on the "contact" link and phone for further information.

On the other hand you may like to simply spend a quiet few minutes to sit and contemplate in prayer and enjoy the peacefulness of the church. We are planning to open the church at certain times for this purpose. A signboard will be displayed outside the front entrance to indicate that the church is open for anyone for the purpose of private prayer and reflection.

So please explore the various links on our website to find out much more about us and we shall look forward to welcoming you at our church one day soon. One thing you can be quite sure of is that a warm welcome will await you.
